American Club Pipe Tobacco, Fit for the Free and the Brave? (1/10/2012)

Hello fellow pipe smokers!  Today we review American Club Pipe Tobacco.  After having tried a couple other brands, how will American Club Pipe Tobacco stack up?  Will it impress, just pass mustard, or "go up in smoke"?  Yes, the pun is intended, and you get not only a review, but a bit of humor!

American Club Pipe Tobacco, which you might be able to guess, is an American-made tobacco product.  100% natural, and free of all preservatives and additives, just as mother nature intended!  As a lesser-known brand, I had my reservations about it.  Also, the very low-price on www.BuyDiscountCigars.com made me a bit sceptical as well.

The package arrived from www.BuyDiscountCigars.com rather quickly, and I was impressed and satisfied with the shipping packaging and the simple ordering process.  The package of American Club Pipe Tobacco was exactly as expected, simple and ordinary, and gave little inclination as to the quality of tobacco it may contain.

Upon opening, the aroma was a very natural smelling tobacco, and nothing special either.  So far, everything is in line with expectations, but nothing really special either.  The pipe tobacco packed and lit with relative ease, and presented all the same characteristics of brands I have bought at Walmart and other stores in the past.

The smoke itself is quite pleasant, nothing amazing, but certainly very smokeable.  The aroma is average as well, and nothing to be remarked about here.  All-in-all, I would say American Club Pipe Tobacco is a great pipe tobacco value, and easily good enough to be an everyday smoker.  But, if you are looking for the best darn pipe tobacco you have ever smoked, better to try something else.
